Ovation
CeIebrating Everyday Heroes

“Who hears music, feels his solitude peopled at once.” ― Robert Browning

2020

is a year we will forever remember

as a time of uncertainty and isolation, a worldwide shared experience that no one saw coming. But the challenges of Covid 19 brought out the best in us: courage, resilience and a sense of community. We celebrate the spirit of our everyday heroes!

OVATION is a series of concerts in five New Brunswick communities

where a commissioned musical piece, a complementary video montage, and locally sourced writings give voice to everyday heroes in the face of adversity and isolation. An additional 48 outreach musical performances will be presented in six provincial communities.

Ovation

is a series of concerts designed to bring live music back to the general public and to encourage people far and wide to share with the Tutta Musica Orchestra how music has helped them overcome the challenges of the pandemic.

Ovation also celebrates the power of music. While many turned to breadmaking, walking or reading as a way of escape, music was the universal saving grace for us all. From streaming concerts to drive-by performances, the world found comfort and solace in music during those challenging times.

And so it is with immense gratitude and pride for our community that we invite every Canadian to join us in celebrating the power of music, the signature Canadian sense of togetherness, and the impact of community in all of our lives.

We all deserve so much praise for braving the storm and coming out stronger on the other side. Let’s give each other a standing
